2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
half teaspoon salt
2 tbsp. butter
two thirds to one cup milk I usually cut in the butter with a pastry cutter.
Then gradually add milk with fork. Drop by spoonfuls on top of stew and cover with a lid.
At a medium low temp. Want to hear some movement in the pot. Will figure it out more after trying once or twice. Keep lid closed for 10 minutes. May add chopped herbs or onion etc if desired. Need no potatoes if you dont want them with the dumplings instead.
