I'm not who I am when I got sick. Instead of thinking about study, I would just frantically read books that I normally didn't have time to read.

So I finished the third book of a novel that I started reading in 2022.

Staying at home to read is something this architect Johann David Steingruber, -kind of- pushed to the extreme. He designed different homes, shaped like the alphabet ;- )

I've seen similar architectural ideas before, but that architect did interior decoration. This makes certain letters with lots of corners difficult to design (such as M).

But Steingruber deftly resolved this conflict with designs such as small courtyards. These buildings look perfect for a vampire family...

Got a new white crystal pendant as the old fluorite one has been dropped by me twice...

It's very rough around the edges, but there's surprisingly no impurities in it, and at certain angles you can even see rainbows reflecting off from the inside.

They are said to support any self healing journey with their bio energetic properties, is that why you keep them? Have you noticed any beneficial effects with their presence?

In the past I collected a bunch of gems and crystals too. Most of them are good company for my houseplants and some are in full display. I have a thin wooden shelf that ''floats'' above my couch. (2 threads of fish-cord from the ceiling keep it up on eyes height).

I've heard a lot about the healing powers of crystals, and they do cool down some fidgets when I’m with them.

Another reason for buying white crystal this time is that I bought a pendulum three years ago, and it's made of white crystal. It was like a wise friend of mine. I don't use occult much now, but I still have some fond memories of white crystals from that time.

or new (c)age stuff. For a long time it has felt very tempting to me too but I learned it's usually just a flimsy, colored coating and that trusting my intuition feels more just and brings more steady results.

My crystals are now for decoration. The white and transparent ones have been my all time favorites and I keep them all together in a transparent glass bowl.

To align for direction or guidance, I usually do some grounding and then muscle-testing. Using my body as compass.

I find myself caring too much about other people's opinions. I put pressure to myself to keep myself look ''shiny'' ''all good'' to others. I don't have enough courage to ignore those positive but unrealistic impressions left in other's eyes.

Interesting enough, fortune always give me a fine result after I struggled with my pressure and make me worried about the next challenge. I have more time than I thought, but I killed them with useless pain.

I've recently been trying to write a story about doctors, patients, and reincarnation.
Most of the purely realistic stories I've written in the past have abolished in midstream, so I'm going to try again.

I have a special affinity for hospitals, probably because I spent my early childhood there(Because I was sick all the time). Strangely enough I haven't written a story that takes place in a hospital. I think one can witness a lot of humanity there.

I really appreciate your interest in this story... But if I'm going to share it with you international friends, I think translation into English is a must.

However, my own English is not good enough for me to write it in English, and using translation software is even more of a disaster (as they are currently incapable of capturing literary nuances). I think the language barrier will become a chasm. This is indeed a problem for me.

My new tablemate is a special person. We were actually in the same class last semester, but we didn't really get to know each other until now. I feel like our brainwaves are on the same frequency. It's quite lucky to meet her.:D

explored some new age teachings. I'm no longer into that, but there are esoteric teachings like pedomancy and toe reading, that connect the soles with the soul. For example, the right foot has a record of the events in your life, while the left foot reveals moral and spiritual growth and understanding.

Anyway, a hole in socks may be representing something too.. They expose 'the soul' and that might feel uncomfortable.

However, barefoot walking / running is healthy in multiple ways too..
