The truth about owls. Twi, 02 Mrt 13:04
The truth about owls is they might steal your soul if you look into their eyes for too long. I have a pet Tawny cally Olly. He took my soul long ago.

ASH WEDNESDAY Twi, 01 Mrt 18:37
I shall repent, gleefully, after putting out my next door neighbour's belching, stinking smoker of a bonfire with my high pressure hose.

 Dawn.
GREAT.... Dawn, 01 Mrt 22:03
can I borrow if for the pyromaniac who lives on the corner of this road. He drives me crazy with his bloody bonfires. One day last summer we went out for a walk after dinner and made the mistake of leaving the windows open at the back of the house. Guess what Mr Pyro did while we were gone..... when we got home the house was full of smoke from his huge bonfire. I daren't ever hang out any washing. God only knows where he gets the stuff to burn, we think he must buy it. He's old and I look forward to the day he goes into a nursing home.

 Twi.
A possible solution... Twi, 02 Mrt 12:06
Hi Dawn! I suggest you collect bits of old carpet, anything rubber (NOT polystyrene) and some good old garden refuse and wait until Pyro is sitting out in his garden one warm afternoon. Hopefully... the wind will be blowing in his direction. Light da bonny. Carpet smoulders on for hours, but he'll be gone in a flash, cussing, but rueing the day he smoked you out. I did it to some neighbours back in Sweden where I lived before. Waited for a warm summer's day; the wind going their way. They were serial bonfire addicts. Pity, then, that I ruined their garden party. But they never smoked me out again. Mind you - they never spoke to me, again either. heh

Luckily I don't talk to him anyway, I do speak to his two cute Jack Russell dogs as he walks by with them. Strange isn't it, I talk to the dogs and their owners passing by but, I wouldn't talk to a person passing by without a dog.

 Rosibutterfly.
dogs .. Rosibutterfly, 03 Mrt 01:24

Moving on Twi, 28 Feb 21:24
I need to focus more on me and my things again. Lately I haven't been able to, since I’ve been ill for the past week and have only wanted to get well. At least now my cold / chest infection seem to have gotten to 'almost-normal-cold' instead of 'way-too-heavy-cold-that-force-you-to-rest-in-your-bed-all-day-long-cough-cough-cough'. And that feels great. It's so much easier to get things done when you're getting better, you feel that you want to spend your time wisely. I’ve been sitting a lot at the computer lately.. a lot! and I din't feel like doing that much today. Need to get things done. Getting well and get things done. Not forgetting of course, to take my Jag XK8 out for a gentle drive instead of stickin it to those Wagnerian Audi and Be-emmer drivers, heh.

Gannetry: aka GREEDY BUGGER Twi, 14 Feb 08:16
Breakfast Tom put away: fry-up consisting of 3 eggs sunny side up, 3 x bacons, fried bread, baked beanos and a sausage, washed down by 2 double expressos strong enough to give him a hard dick - but no such luck. Tom's Lunch: bacon butty and a crisp butty in brown pain de campagne, 3 manky French pears and mug of sweetened tea. Yesterday afternoon at 4pm: I discovered that Tom had AGAIN found my secret stash of choccy and scoffed the lot! GANNET. And I thought choccies were for Valentine's Day! >_< Then the craving for choccy worsened and I'm pissed as it's been pillaged by this pig who eats enough as it is, yet snores like a tractor. So what did I do? I hotwired his Defender (couldn’t find his damned ignition keys) backed it into a row of dustbins laugh my knickers off heh, then I took it off-road across Cooden in a pregnancy-induced rage. For our ladies here, do pregnancy hormones always affect us like this?

Rider in the sky Twi, 02 Feb 14:54
----.I have a dream that one day it will all make perfect sense That i'll be as free as the grass in the meadow That i'll find my place in this wondrous world just like the birds and the stars On the crisp, clear winter nights in the south, you have to duck to avoid the stars as they reach down from the heavens and shine on hills....see the horse rider in the skies... So much seems possible on nights like these... So much seems within reach, like the stars.---- * Questions... Questions... Questions... ----.Who are you? And who am I? And why do i have this strange burning in my soul that keeps me up for days feeling at peace only when the stars come down to keep me company...? Are there others? Who is that girl in my dreams that meets me in those starry hills and holds my hand as we keep warm under the oak tree and chase orion into the sunrise...?..and to watch the horse rider gallop across the starry skies? Who is she on that horse? Who am I, even?

 Twi.
continued... Twi, 02 Feb 14:53
Questions... Questions... Questions..... ----.Am i insane? I'm starting to wonder... Will i find peace? or will i always be searching....for that girl on horseback, riding across the starry skies? Are we all cursed as i to be burning for life... To be on it's heels... day in and day out... To be begging the heavens for an answer... An answer to a question i don't even know.---- * Questions... Questions... Questions..... ----.Who is that girl? Who am i? Perhaps i'll grow to know them both, one day.... I had a dream… .. A dream that one day i'll know where my home is. I had a dream that one day it will all make sense, And now it has. For i have Tom in my life again, That he is here to stay with this girl, And his child in her body, Waiting to be born, Into their world...to ride across the skies, on horseback in the starry realms where peace sheds its stardust upon us as we sit beneath the tree, chasing Orion in the sky -:-

People you never meet Twi, 29 Jan 19:11
Have you ever looked at people as you walk past them in the street and wondered what their lives are like? When's their birthday? What family have they got? Do they decorate their house for Christmas? And just where are all the other people on the motorway going? These are just some of the questions that I find running through my head sometimes when I'm walking down the high street in town, or driving to visit someone. We pass so many people every day, that fleeting glance being probably the only time, the only way, in which our worlds will ever touch. Just two worlds brushing side by side for the briefest of moments, not even colliding, just closing in and moving on.

get this: a woman walks into my store here in Taos, NM.- I detect an accent but cannot place it - she detects my accent, pegs me as German, and proceeds to speak to me in flawless German. ( me impressed) so I ask: where did you learn your German? - (By now it is established that she is Argentine, )she says: aww.. this little town in Germany.. long story short : she lived 3 doors down from my brother in the 80ies in Germany.. meaning : I meet this Argentine woman in the US who knows my brother in Germany....aint it something?

 Tiki.
ehr... as entertaining as this story is Tiki, 30 Jan 03:55
it is not really what Twi's post was about. the post is about 'do you ever wonder about strangers' lives?'. your post is about 'amazing whaddasmallworld coincidences'.

 Artetaos.
thanx tiki Artetaos, 30 Jan 04:31
for pointing out the missing logic..it hadn't entirely escaped me, ya know..- sorry if I disobeyed your posting rules, good thing is: at least I entertained you a little - and helped you sharpen your critical thinking skills :)

 Tiki.
yah Tiki, 30 Jan 05:53
as i typed it i was wondering why I was saying it. not so much my critical thinking skills as you call them (none required in this case) and I have no posting rules so that can't be it. must be my slightly obsessive compulsive tendencies or sumtin.

 Nothing.

yes Lumins, 29 Jan 22:23
I feel alone in those situations. But usually in a good way. There's a certain amount of comfort in that amount of anonymity. It's different then living in the forest alone. There's also the randomness, the people as molecules bumping into each other, creating links, reactions. Anything could happen, but most likely it won't. Maybe a small exchange of words, and then poof.

 Twi.
...oh, and Arte ~ Twi, 29 Jan 18:45
